a local working farm….Taylor Farms
in
Londonderry where they make their famous Smoked Gouda or the Merck Forest and
Farmland Center,
a 60 acre organic farm with both livestock and gardens that offer
seasonal events, programs and celebrations and miles of hiking trails.
Drive
to the top of Mount
Equinox
for a fantastic view of Vermont,
New
York, Massachusetts
and New
Hampshire. At the
summit,
take a short hike to Lookout Rock for a birdseye view of Manchester.
Canoe
down the Battenkill
with Battenkill Canoe….they
will outfit you and pick you up at the end of your float
Rent
a bike and take a ride.
On road or off
there are plenty of beautiful rides in and around Manchester.

Visit Historic Hildene,

summer estate of Robert Todd Lincoln,
the only surviving child of President
